This is a fun, everyday project for you to do with your kids while you teach them their colors. There are 13 colors, so this will give you a good week and a half of planned fun.
Materials needed:
Old magazines
Scissors
Glue
Crayons
Ziplock bag to hold magazine clippings
Appropriate ages:
18 months-3

Here are some easy love cards to make with your kids. All you need is:
Red and pink construction paper
Permanent pen
Google eyes
Scissors
Glue
Alphabet Stamps (optional)
Step 1: precut hearts, and rectangular shapes for the cards. Use different shapes and sizes for unique cards. I cut thin strips for ‘pop up’ hearts with huggy arms. [...]

Lesson ideas:
Color hunts. Take them outside and have them find one new color a day. you’d be surprised how fast they retain info when they are actively participating.
Make a ‘color’ book. Instructions on the way!
Give them a one colored snack. Ex: Red apples for red day, star fruits for yellow [...]
